My Corner of the World

I love foamy waters after a storm. It is caused by algae being churned in the waves.

I love the sound of the crashing waves. Did not know about the cause of the foam.

I love photos of the ocean. We live on the Southwest peninsula but I don't get to the coast as much as I would like to. In the summer it is packed with tourists so a mild day in winter is better.

Do you live near the beach or just regularly seek them out? I'm getting jealous of your pics.

The waves coming in to the beach are always captivating. I could watch the waves for a long time.

I love the foam especially when the wind blows it into the air! Right now the sea opposite me is still as a mill pond and blue as blue can be.
