Behind the black cloud it glows and sparkles mysteriously, the light makes its way down to the earth and draws the shadowy houses and trees there - a wonderful spectacle!

I use to think those sun rays shining through the clouds was heavens way of picking up it's souls.
Majestic rays! We sometimes have anticrepuscular rays from the opposite horizon (a mirrored or false sunrise) if the atmospheric conditions at sunrise are just right.
