Behind the black cloud it glows and sparkles mysteriously, the light makes its way down to the earth and draws the shadowy houses and trees there - a wonderful spectacle!

Majestic rays! We sometimes have anticrepuscular rays from the opposite horizon (a mirrored or false sunrise) if the atmospheric conditions at sunrise are just right.
