The monochrome always brings me up short ...so surprised (every time) at how beautiful it can be and how it makes me notice details! I’ve said before that hydrangeas are a favorite flower because they are so beautiful in all stages from buds through full bloom to dried out. And now I know that they are beautiful in black and white also. .....

To me, each and everyone of the monochrome pics has its own beauty.

Your photographs are beautiful and I love the monochrome. There is something about black and white that is so wonderful.

Your photography is superior! I enjoyed all the photos. Thank you for sharing! Thank you also for your kind comment on my blog about the Mountain Bluebirds. My latest post is about my hummingbirds and our big snow in Seattle. Have a wonderful week ahead! John

So beautiful! I studied Black and White photography so many years ago. Taking color out of the picture makes it all about the light, the textures, the shapes. Less color - more to notice. Great shots!

They are related for sure. Beautiful shot.

I love your black and white photography in your last post. Beautiful shots as well. The camera loves you.

Have a fabulous day, Betty. Big hug. ♥
