These rose buds are from my garden this week.
The roses don't know it's time to sleep.



Many of the roads we take wind around hills and mountains.
I don't close my eyes so much any more!

A lovely tribute to American Marines during WWII at Paekakariki. 


I love the blend of black and brown sand on the beach.

Great collection of photos, my Mum used to go to dances where the US marines went to in Auckland during the war years. Nice to see they are remembered.

I didn’t know that about the Us Marines in the war. ... those must be about the last roses of summer (I almost forgot what season it was for you).
