I caught this pigeon watching us as we walked up the Hawera water tower.
You don't usually see keruru (NZ pigeon) in the open very often but this one was
checking out the view.
I have no idea what this fella/gal is but it seemed happy where it was.
I like the light on this rimu branch among the other forest vetetation.
They grow over 61 meters high and live over 800 years.
This field of miniature forget-me-nots made me smile.

What a splendid array!!! YAM xx
You have out done yourself with these photos. The framing of the pigeon is perfect, and I can not forget the Forget-Me-Nots. I do not get to see 800 year old trees either. Had an old, failing Ash tree cut down in my lawn this week and it was only about 75 years old.
Oh, my goodness....each and every single foto is simply awesome! I love the bee/bug on the yellow flower...and the forget-me-nots...and how the light is streaming through. Great eye! HOPE you have a great weekend.
Insect is very nice
I have to say, these are wonderful photos! I love the pigeon playing peekaboo!
O what an nice, NICE photo of the dove behind the wall. Love it. Also the other photos.
All of these made me smile...and that first shot is a wonderful capture.
I like looking at archived photos, they bring back memories. And yours are beautiful! I especially like the first one, with the beautifully framed pigeon.
