oldest church in New Zealand

This church is on the Bay of Islands in the northern part of New Zealand, founded in 1836. As far as I know, it is still in use every Sunday. Click here for more information.
For those who are interested, here's a link about the battle.

A lovely little historic church and nice to see the commemoration of one of early battles during the Maori wars.

It's been a while since visiting. Great shots! Such a beautiful church. Just another reason that I have to get down to your part of the world and shoot some pictures. Hope you had a great weekend.
