weekend trip in black and white

The weather did not cooperate this weekend and I think these shots look much better in monochrome.

You're right. They are all attractive in black and white, and I love the water drops on the wire fence.

That could easily pass for mid-summer in the English Lake District! I quite like pictures shot in bleak weather.

we were lucky to have sun for most of our time in NZ but had one day of heavy rain on the road to Milford Sound - this reminds me a bit of that.

Only when I can go out of town I can see aspects as presented by you, captured so well... and water drops in the morning !! And the hills I presume covered in misty fog appearance... Great in b&w! A good day of october for you!

They are lovely in that treatment -- I got awfully tired of rainy Oregon days (when we lived here all year round) but you make rainy days magical!
