Are you sure you're not on the Oregon Coast ;>) Looks very similar and looks wonderful! I love this kind of coastal scene -- love the wild Pacific coast beaches much better than the ones we have in Florida.
I read a book a long time ago that referred to the rocks and sea as "permanence at rest and permanence in motion" - and I'd not thought of that for a long time.

I love visiting here and getting to see a personal view of New Zealand! The coastlines are very different than here in Florida as Sallie says.
