Waverley Beach

This is a favorite beach when we are in south Taranaki.

A closer look at the wall reveals that limpets have made round holes in it.

Even closer inspection shows the snails that have taken up residence inside the holes.

The lava (or is it rock) is formed into a monument looking mass. The color may be gray, but the sky is soft and lovely. The rock formation is lifeless, yet life abounds in and around it. This beach is beautiful!
