Tirau

Hubby told me to get my camera ready as we got close to Tirau, but I was busy admiring the town before I remembered to start clicking!

The original critter--information center and public toilets.

These are just the ones on the main street!  If you want to see more, you can google 'Tirau.'

Tirau is also a great place to hunt for antiques, if you have the time after looking at all the quirky things around the place!

New Zealanders are people who like to live life with a lot of humor.
I really enjoyed the original and fun way of the butchery announcing that they sell beef, sheep and pork.
Congratulations for the excellent photos.

I am amazed and can hardly believe that these animal-like house claddings, like the tourist information center, are made of corrugated cardboard? That's great!
