That's a lotta sheep! We raised two of three in our time, but not this many!
Hi Betty! ~~ Thank you for showing us all of those sheep penned up. Would that be for the night, every night or just on special occasion like vacinations, marking, shearing, getting ready for market, etc?Your post reminded me of the bearded fellow with his dog we talked with on Mt. Victoria. He was a New Zealand sheep shearer, retired I think. We learned a lot from our enjoyable convsation with him...
Good heavens! You really have sheep down there - makes my sheep post look a little spare!
Never seen so many sheep together in my life! Great pics for S:)
We have a lot of cows and sheep here in NZ. At one point, it was said that there were 9 sheep for every person here, but that has declined to about 5 per person.Jim, they are penned for something special, I would think shearing but it seems a bit late for that. Otherwise, they would be out on a hillside grazing.
Yes, indeed - a lotta sheep! Though I saw many last week in North Wales,UK, famed for its Welsh lamb! Great pics and post! Have a great Alphabe-Thursday and weekend too, Visiting from Alphabe-Thursday
