strange things on the side of the road

We drive through the town of Kaponga to go to Hollard Gardens. It's basically one intersection with a pub, a small grocery store, a mechanic's garage and a school. The population can't be more than 400.

I have to say that we see the strangest vehicles parked in this small town, but not outside the mechanic's place.

It seems that tennis was a big thing a few decades back.

That is a hilarious post. Have you seen the video going viral of an Irish grandma reading "Wonky Donkey to her grandchild? It is hilarious too.

The signs are so funny and love seeing those turkeys crossing! When we were traveling, we saw a tennis court that had been made into a basketball court and some kids were shooting hoops. I remarked that it was a smart change. Not nearly as many kids play tennis! Hugs!

Treasures galore, I like the dog sign best. The variety added a lot of fun to this post.

What a grouping of eccentric photos. Seems like quite the unique place. Love the stupid donkey and stupid dog signs!

Funny as! The police car in the first photo reminds me of something we would've seen on Dukes of Hazzard.
