Mt Taranaki

Even after ten years,  I still find Mt Taranaki's moods quite stunning, Some of these were taken from my house and others are from drives around the mountain to look for different compositions.

The mountain's volcanic hills called the Pouakai Ranges.

As I love to travel, (but not so often recently, though)... your superb pictures, compositions are a true balm for my soul. I love especially the warm light through the branches in the scenery of mountain at sunset... What a soul delight! Thank you for the virtual trip!
All views captured are wonderful and you must be so lucky to have such amazing place to admire!
A very sunny day and nice weekend, too!

Beautiful photos of this mountain. I especially like the one with the large bird caught at just the right moment.

I like the photos with the green paddocks in the foreground and the snow-capped mountain in the background.
