Pioneer VIllage

After reading on Rubbish by Roan that her Rubbish Tuesday shots can be pristine places that are old, I remembered a visit to Pioneer Village in Stratford. They have several original buildings from the Taranaki area and it's fun to see them all together. I don't have a lot of information about the places in the photos I will be posting for the meme, but I will find what I can.  I believe this is a miner's cabin.

A picturesque place to live. If there were a computer hook up, think I could live there. Well, it might need a bit of fixing up! Love all the rusty kitchen pots. I'm so glad you remembered these pics and shared them. Thanks for linking up!

Being a pioneer looks to have been a tough (though picturesque) existence.

What a gorgeous place! And I love the rusted pans. It looks like someone just walked away one day and found a more modern place to live. So interesting!
