orion

In the midst of rain from Cyclone Dovi last night, I noticed moonlight shining in
a window, so I went outside and found very clear skies. So I grabbed the camera and
took a few photos. I did find Orion's belt just above the roof and was happy to get a
slightly-shaky shot before the clouds covered him up again.

  1. Astronomical photography can be difficult, and you managed well. Keep looking up.

  3. I love looking at the starry sky, unfortunately my eyes don't see very well in the dark, but I can see the stars in your photo, great constellation!

  4. nice shot :) I was out for a walk the other night when Orion was up. I actually was able to capture an image with my cellphone. Not good of course, but I can see it. :) :)

  8. Looking from Finland Orions Belt is kinda horiszontal. Yours is more vertical. We live a half a word apart so no wonder. Thank you for hosting MCotW!
