My Corner of the World



These are sculptures of Moa, a flightless bird found only in New Zealand,
that went extinct in the mid 15th century. 
We found the sculptures in Apiti.

  7. I hate the word extinct! I just read that kolas are on the endangered list. Say it isn't so.

  18. The moa bird resembles an ostrich, but its head and neck are more reminiscent of a dinosaur?
