tiny nest

There are lots of different sizes of  birds' nests high in the trees from years gone by,
but Hubby handed me this tiny one that fell out while he was working.
It's on my laptop keyboard so you can see the size. I am hoping it belongs
to a Rifleman.
I have seen some little birds flitting around but haven't got any photos yet.

This nest was in a fruit tree and probably belongs to a grey warbler.

I can't wait til spring!!

enjoying winter colors

I took all these photos today!
I like to have reason and order in things around me,
but having flowers in winter makes absolutely no sense!
So, I have decided to just enjoy these fabulous colors--even if
they aren't logical!

Even in monochrome, they look amazing!
This is a succulent of some sort.

rainbows and fantails

I noticed my first rainbow at the house and ran out
to get some snaps. Then, I noticed the fantail that got in my
shot and saw several flying around, so I tried to capture some photos
of them in the air.
