enjoying winter colors

I took all these photos today!
I like to have reason and order in things around me,
but having flowers in winter makes absolutely no sense!
So, I have decided to just enjoy these fabulous colors--even if
they aren't logical!

Even in monochrome, they look amazing!
This is a succulent of some sort.

  4. Poor plants, they really don't know what season it is do they? But we might as well enjoy them all the same, and your photos are gorgeous.

  12. Betty your photos are exquisite - the rhododendrons, camellias and azaleas can all be winter flowering shrubs, but there are some there that are certainly summer flowers - you must be a in a very sheltered spot!
    Stay safe

  15. Flowers are a joy to have at any time. But is this common there? You are at at least the 2nd New Zealand blog that has had flowers in winter and I thought theirs was just an oddity, but now I wonder.
