Oh Betty - this "warms" my heart to no end - which is pretty special right now given that we are in the throes of cold, cold, cold! And you compiled them into such a lovely collage - nicely done! Thanks so much for linking these beauties to Mosaic Monday!
Å lovely mosaic of flowers! I’ve tried to learn more flower names. I’m more interested in the local name (the meaning behind it) than the science name.
A great selection of lovely flowers, Betty! Here's diving into the deep end to try and name them for you: 1st row: Philadelphus mexicanus (mock orange); Rosa spp. (looks like a Cecile Brunner - if it's tiny!); Jasminum polyanthum (white jasmine). 2nd row: Acca sellowiana (Feijoa); Lavandula stoechas (French lavender). 3rd row: Weigela florida (fairy trumpets); Oxalis crassipes 'Alba' (white oxalis); Leucanthemum × superbum (white doublee shasta daisy). Thank you for taking part in the "My Sunday Best Meme", great to see you visiting here!
