This snowy shot is from a train trip into the mountains. We don't get much snow in Taranaki.






That's 'Mt Doom' on the right. Locally known as Mt Ngauruhoe.

    Beautiful photos, love the close up of the bee, I have just watched the Lord of the Rings dvds (again) and had a nostalgia wallow of NZ scenery.

    I just have to see the word “Random” in the title of one of your posts to know I’ll have a huge smile on my face all the while I’m looking at it ... and today for absolute sure. That bee!
