My Corner of the World

When Mickey (the cat) brings us rabbits to feed those of us who are really bad hunters, we use them to lure Twitchy (that's what I call our local hawk) close enough to the house for photos.
The last one worked quite well.

  2. Last year we had two baby hawks that grew up in our bushes. I'll have to post a few pictures on my blog~ I have a very small 7 pound dog, so was very careful when taking her out on her leash. The parents or bigger hawks kept a close eye on her~ yikes!

  8. I think your hawk loves a free lunch!! I was inundated with rabbits all Spring and Summer and now I haven't seen one. My guess is that our resident bobcat is eating well...:)jp

  9. Nice. I tried to photograph a hawk the other day and it did not go well. So you've named him then? I love it and a handsome fellow he is.
