kitesurfing

After several days of wind and storm around the country, we went to the coast, hoping to find some huge waves. We didn't find waves, but we found kitesurfers.

I'm not much of an 'action' shooter, but I did enjoy catching the bits of bright color against the moody sky and  dark, churned water.

they are fun to watch, eh?! Funny thing is, just a few days ago, I had the same experience - only I was the driver and my aged dad wasn't keen on stopping, so I only have those images in my head, not the camera!!! YAM xx

  4. That looks tricky! I was supposed to be going to a Kite Festival today but as there's hardly a breath of wind out there I decided to give it a miss.

  12. I’m not even much of an action person, much less action photographer ))), but must admit that kite surfing looks like it would be fun, (if I were younger and stronger). Your pics are great...the color spots in that vast and beautiful ocean!
