pohutukawa and WATW

The pohutukawas, aka New Zealand Christmas Trees, don't fully bloom in Taranaki
by Christmas, so this is a photo from my archives.

Show us your world this week! Link up below by clicking the
blue 'add my link' button.

WATW will be discontinued at the end of the year.  :(  You can read about it here.
I enjoy seeing blogs from around the world and am toying with the idea of
continuing a weekly link-up here at
Photographing New Zealand.
If you would be interested in  continuing linking up with the blog world,
please let me know in a comment. You can also suggest
a name for the link-up, too!

  1. I was unaware it was going! I'm more than happy to continue (I like seeing little glimpse of our fascinating planet). I will think of a name but I'm fairly useless at the moment. Off to read the link on why it's going. And please count me in if you continue the link up

  3. That is a perfect Christmas tree. Every time I was going to pick up a tree I went smaller and smaller until I finally brought home a poinsettia. And since it's been here two days now I predict its demise by this weekend.
