Stands with honesty boxes are an occasional sight.






At one point, this airplane was open as a place to eat your food from the attached restaurant.

Signs like this are in all the touristy places.

    Betty, completely agree with you about the interesting things you found. Never seen a motorcycle hanging from a tree, and love the VW Bug spider. We use to have one in our town but it is now long gone.

    amazing finds, like them all! I love to see what many decorate their yards with.The hanging motorcycle is unique

    I can’t say I’ve ever seen a pigs crossing the road sign.
    I expect they might be rather unruly!

    Wonderful photos, love the Minion. There is an old DC3, I think, in the Maccas at Taupo, used as part of the restaurant. Never seen a pigs crossing sign before 😆 and I also ask what is the meanig of the bike in the tree?? Impounded by parents maybe?

    What a fabulous collection of unusual things, I've never seen a pig crossing sign before, or a motorbike in a tree or even a minion in a field, but the Beetle Spider has to be my favourite. (I see a lot of people calling it a VW Bug but in my Country we called it a Beetle.)
