We have lived in Iowa, the home to a huge pork industry, but I have never seen a pig crossing sign before. Wonderfully funny. BTW, never run into a pig as they will destroy your car, and the pig does not enjoy it either.
No, I've never seen anything like that, though when I worked on a farm we did walk pigs along a back road occasionally. We do have signs for sheep, deer, ducks and even toads crossing the road.

ReplyDelete...not a sign that I would see here.
ReplyDeleteYes by looking at your other post I can see why they need a sign!

ReplyDeleteCertainly an unusual sign - it would grab peoples' attention!
ReplyDeleteWe allow ours into the pasture and sometimes they find their way onto the road
ReplyDeleteThey are really free range pigs aren't they 😆 makes me a bit sad to see the old derelict house.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a sign like this and I like it, since it helps to protect the pigs should they stray. It does grab your attention!
