Hurray!

I got to see the mountain at sunset for the first time in ages! The weather was rainy even before we got the backlash from Hurricane Debbie.

    Here in Washington State (U.S.) our mountain is often shrouded by clouds. When Mount Rainier is out, everybody stops and looks! I'm glad to hear your rain and storms are gone and that the sun is shining. Thanks for sharing your photo.

    Cyclone Debbie was a doozy wasn't she?
    The floods in Northern NSW and Qld have been record breaking. Did she end up doing much damage in NZ?

    I like the photo. There is something surreal about the size of the sun and the Mt. Taranaki. Perhaps it looks like the ability of the peak to balance the sun ball on its tip?
