Beautiful day for a drive, part 1

We took a ride up the Forgotten World Highway a few days ago. It's exciting for me because it's so beautiful--even if it's mostly uneventful.









We scared a hawk away from a snack.

I love seeing the moss/lichen on the fence at Whangamomona church.

    Lovely scenery. We've seen lots of news about floods in NZ but obviously not near you.
