Onuku Church

We came across this beauty while driving around on the Banks Peninsula at Christchurch.

The foundation stone was laid in 1876 and it officially opened in 1878 as the first
non-denominational church in New Zealand.

    Oh what a beautiful wee church - thanks for showing us the old photos too. Love the old pump action organ - they were hard work!!
