  8. There is a free-flight aviary in a town about 4 hours from our house. I used to love to go there for a weekend to see all the colorful birds swirling around! Beautiful!!!

  18. I love these brightly colored parrots. I have seen such parrots at the Zoo, in Barcelona and in Prague. They are very talkative! ☺

  21. Modern zoos and animal parks (if run well!), do much to help with conservation of animals and prevent species extinction.

  28. Wow! I can’t imagine seeing such beautiful and colourful birds in the wild...or an aviary like that. Sadly, I have only seen them in pet stores.
