Spring has definitely sprung and the tui (two-ee) birds are here.
They are fluttering around everywhere the sounds are incredible!

I love birds singing. Love this collage!
ReplyDeleteBright yellow flowers in my post this week captured just in time before this week's frost.
ReplyDelete...and fall/autumn has arrived to my corner of the world.
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring as we head into Fall. Spring and Fall are such a favorite. Not fan anymore of what comes after Fall. These old bones get cold too fast. I do miss the birds of Spring, and all their noise. More quiet here now. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteYour photos of the trees are entrancing, though I could not identify them. Yes, the underground connections between them are vital for their survival. It is interesting how such varied organisms can develop such vital relationships, as is ours with the bacteria in our intestinal tracts.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of tui birds. :) The photo that is centre-left is the best one! :)
ReplyDeleteNever heard of Tui birds, so looked up on youtube. Their feather arrangement is certainly different, and the singing sounds more like odd noises. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen many of those birds around up here, although we hear them, they must be quite high up in the trees.
ReplyDeleteLucky you, to do these beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the linking!
Happy WW!
I wish I could hear them. Birds and ocean waves are my favorite sounds.
ReplyDeleteNice one. I find bird shots quite hard to do - and a lesson in patience.
ReplyDeleteI like your bird photos. These birds seem quite lively in your pictures.
ReplyDeleteI don't know these birds, but other species that make loud noises!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful collage this is :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
The kowhai flowers are beautiful, love the sounds of the tui. We had a kowhai tree in the front yard in Tauranga, it was a mass of flowers in the spring and the tui visitied .
ReplyDeleteI love their long pointy beaks! It is fall here in the US and in North Dakota the leaves are changing. I just got a new camera and wish it was spring again so I could find more birds to photograph. I guess I will just have to migrate with them and head south!
ReplyDeleteThey look a bit like crows but better, and I am going to have to Google Tuis because I really want to know what thy sound like! Thank you for hosting, as always.
ReplyDeleteThe harbingers of spring here are robins. I will have to look up the sound Tuis make
ReplyDeleteYes, spring begins on the other side of the world. We are now only in autumn and soon winter.
ReplyDeleteA nice collage that you made here and bird sweat is always nice.
Greetings Eva
Beautiful pics
ReplyDeleteThe tui birds look like they are very happy to welcome the new season. You must be as well.

ReplyDeleteI love the sounds of spring...everything coming awake again.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of tui birds!! I'd love to see and hear them in person.
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday, Betty!
Now I find out that this bird exists. ☺️ I like it very much! ❤️ I also read something about it (a few minutes back), after seeing your pictures. Very Interesting.
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
A handsome bird, and very acrobatic too!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Spring is a magical time indeed. We are enjoying fall here and after our hot summer it's most welcome. I see you enjoy watching birds as we do.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
Wonderful shots, Betty. Yes, Spring has definitely arrived in Melbourne also, despite the Lockdown! :-)
ReplyDeletePS: Thank you for hosting, Betty!
ReplyDeleteWish I could hear the tui birds sing. Their singing always brightens up my day. Thank you for hosting. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful birds! I would have loved to hear them.

Thanks for visiting my blog and inviting me to join 'My Corner of the World'. New Zealand is on my bucket list ;)
ReplyDeleteAren't these Ravens/Crows? They are fairly common sighting in India
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting dearest Betty.
Love and cheer!
Love your photos Betty - I am extremely fond of Tuis on Kowhai trees.
ReplyDeleteI have a kowhai in full bloom in my garden, but with a feisty cat around (mine) the Tuis stay clear! Thankfully there are other trees in the neigbourhood and I do hear them, and enjoy them.
Stay safe
Blessings
Maxine
