some signs from our travels

I just photograph them, I can't explain them!

If you're curious about the toilets, search for images for 'Hundertwasser Toilets.'

  4. I have a collection of road signs from the islands here in Scotland, the nicest one is the one for otters crossing. I am still sad I didn't catch the one a tourist had "amended" on the Isle of Skye though - instead of cows crossing they turned it into an elephant. Made me laugh. Unfortunately it was removed pretty fast...♥nic

  7. What a fine collection of funny signs. I love the Beware sign with the bite out of it. Looks like it might be a Big Foot bite.

  11. An excellent idea. Some signs are funny, some are useful, and some are scary.
Anyway, it was an interesting walk.

  12. Great collection of signs! The 'World Famous in New Zealand' sign reminds me of the sign on a bakery in Mangochi Malawi which said: 'Probably the best bread in the area' (inspired by the well known Carlsberg phrase, Carlsberg being at the time very popular in Malawi.
