My Corner of the World

The 'stripe' in the above photo is the airstrip we used to take off on the second
leg of our arial trip over the Marlborough Sounds earlier this year! It is at the house of
the owner of the airlines. They used to land and take off on the beach!

    I enjoyed all your shares from that amazing trip, but didn’t really understand that it was a private plane you flew on. Wow, that’s quite an airstrip!     That is a dramatic aerial photo. Landing on that runway would be a challenge.
