Here are two views of Mt Taranaki from the air as we took off at the
New Plymouth airport.

I will be returning your comments as I get time, but I will get there!!
The top of the mountain looks quite small in all the clouds,

Oh, I LOVE these...can't wait to see what else. I always think I will link to your meme, but can never decide what I want to link. Plus, have not been very good at visiting everyone when I do join one so just don't join.
ReplyDeleteFine aerial photos of the impressive mountains. Always makes me nervous flying around mountains.

Welcome home! Beautiful views from the sky! Always happy to see others who take pics from the plane. When we fly, most people seem to take it all so for granted and never even look out the window. Can’t wait to see where you’ve been!
ReplyDeleteVolcanic Mountains -- my favourite window seat sights. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures, Betty. :) I'd love to see more.
Ooh, they look great especially for a through the window shot. Unless you rolled down the window, hahaha.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful, specially love the second one. Looking forward to seeing more of your vacation photos.

The shot of the mountain sticking out of the clouds is a million-dollar shot! It makes me think of the story of Jack and the Beanstalk!!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy viewing the world from the air, these are nice images.
ReplyDeleteMountain with those clouds would make a Great desktop background. Or framed to put it on our wall. Just crop the wing out of it and you have a Winner. Very, very nice capture indeed.
ReplyDeleteHello, beautiful views of the mountains and clouds. Wishing you a Happy March! Enjoy your day, have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhat a majestic sight, Betty! Welcome back...
