We enjoy the same things. I take photos of a certain tree on a certain road almost every time I'm a passenger and have my camera with me. Also of a particular hillside. There was also a shack of a house that I clicked until they finally tore it down.
Oh yeah, I have touchstones like your abandoned house...things I have to take a picture of every time. It’s a great subject that house...you want to know the story! And there’s a couple of us here who would love to jump in that sweet caravan and tour that beautiful countryside.
That 'gypsy camper " looks fun to find.I enjoy going along the gravel here always finding something new. I collect a lot of maps to keep me on track but have had to rely on my compass a number of times.
You've gotten more than a few fantastic shots like the almost fisheye sky, little Hobbit hut, the moon which I can never get, and what looks like a gypsy truck home. I'm sure it has a story to tell. It's nice to see things through new eyes if you can.
Such beautiful photos, just sings NZ to me!! Love the old camper truck, there used to be lots of them up Coromandel many years ago. The cobweb photo is stunning too. The stories that old farm house could tell. Beautiful.

Beautiful series of photos, especially that old camper. Does not look like it has moved in decades.
