Tupare Garden is another free, beautiful garden in Taranaki. But, it's located at the bottom of a hill, so it's difficult for me to walk up and down. This might be the last time we go there for a while.
I'm glad they warned us, but we were, apparently, not on his list!
Love the first photo with the carpet of petals/ It looks a beautiful garden. Bad news that it is difficult to get to.

That carpet of red petals is beautiful! The sign made me laugh (and I would absolutely believe it, because we have camped around magpies and they are territorial creatures!). And every picture between the two I mention is good -- glad you took a lot since it is a hard place to get to for you now (and believe me we both understand that ...too well.)
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning carpet of rhododendron flowers. That magpie certainly looks like a bird to steer well clear of!
