Hollard archives

Hollard Gardens is a public garden that I love to visit. It belonged to a farmer who was more interested in plants than farming and he developed it over many years and then donated it to the public. Click here for some history of the garden.

These are from the archives.

  2. Oh, this farmer should have been a horticulturist! These flowers are stunning - and how bighearted to donate his flowers instead of selling his plants! Your captures are fantastic, Betty! Many thanks for sharing them with All Seasons! Have a great week!

  3. Not too much of a leap from agriculturalist to horticulturalist, but one that doesn't happen too often. Great variety of flower forms and colours on display there.

  8. Looks like he make the right choice to grow plants rather than manage a farm!
