Hollard Gardens is a public garden that I love to visit. It belonged to a farmer who was more interested in plants than farming and he developed it over many years and then donated it to the public. Click here for some history of the garden.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous... and I love that there are people who think wide as this 'farmer' did! YAM xx
Beautiful pics
ReplyDeleteOh, this farmer should have been a horticulturist! These flowers are stunning - and how bighearted to donate his flowers instead of selling his plants! Your captures are fantastic, Betty! Many thanks for sharing them with All Seasons! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteNot too much of a leap from agriculturalist to horticulturalist, but one that doesn't happen too often. Great variety of flower forms and colours on display there.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots of colourful flowers!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place, and an amazing donation from that farmer.
ReplyDeleteThe farmer was a generous soul!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful, beautiful - both the flowers and the story behind the garden
ReplyDeleteThankful that the plant-loving Farmer shared his love for nature's gems and thankful to you for sharing them with us!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like he make the right choice to grow plants rather than manage a farm!
