Cook Strait crossing

Taking a ferry across the Cook Strait is, technically, part of State Highway 1. The scenery is quite unique when travelling between the North Island and South Island.

  1. Wow, magnificent to see the hills rising up out of the water so to speak! All beautiful captures, but your second one is my favorite, because of the details of the vegetation and the shapes of the hills and rocks! Many thanks for sharing this beauty with All Seasons, Betty! Have a wonderful week! Jesh~
