  9. A friend used to grow kiwis (in Oregon) kind of as an experiment -- I remember he needed both male and female trees and of course harvested only a handful. I did not know how they were grown (for real harvest). Sort of like tall heavy grape vines , very carefully ordered. You had a great vacation!

  15. Lovely photo set, I especially like the top of the ferns. I can't quite figure out what's going on with the kiwi trees but interesting enough to find out more about the process.

  17. Cool set of images overall. I, too, like that #5 shot with the posts and walkway curving around and back. That's also an interesting collection of different trees...very nice...
