This is from my archives. Today there is almost no snow on the mountain
(Mount Taranaki/Egmont) as the temperatures hit some record highs.

ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful frame... the total opposite to my several! YAM xx
...enticing for sure!
ReplyDeleteIt probably feels pretty good to think about snow in the middle of a heat wave! That mountain is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful view. Loved the composition.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo with the mountain. We still have a dusting of snow, but the sun has been shining and not the single digits here in Ohio. My world has been kind of lazy lately. Had good intentions for beginning of year exercise, etc. then the cold, cold weather happened and the snow that made it hard to plow to get my car out so the lazy happened. lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting.

Sorry to hear the snow goes away on the mountain top. Too much heat is not good.
ReplyDeleteWhere I live we have a strange winter. No snow for two weeks, then two days of snow. Then it is gone again :(
At least I don´t have to shovel my car. ;)
What a pretty lighthouse!
ReplyDeleteGreat capture Of the scene!
ReplyDeleteLovely mountain, but with the lighthouse there must be sea shore nearby. Excellent photo.
ReplyDeleteWhat mountain is that? It is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing! Have a lovely week!
ReplyDeletePeaceful picture...

That's a beautiful picture. I try to look out for it when I fly to Auckland but never get to see it as it's usually in the clouds. The temperatures have been extremely high even in Wellington
ReplyDeleteI love the combination of the natural beauty of the snow topped mountain and the manmade lighthouse.
