more summer colors

My garden isn't very big but it certainly doesn't lack color :)

The old fashioned roses in the first two photos (they came with the house we rent) 
are probably 40 years old or more and are beautiful each year.


These straw flowers have become a favorite--but don't tell the other flowers :)

Statice, below, is new to me and I think it's a winner.


California poppies are one of those imports that love it here!

The purple below is called toadflax. a linaria.


I really like the details of my lupin.

  16. I'm guessing lots of people on this side of the big pond are sighing in envy at your beautiful summer colors. We are in Florida now, so we do have color and flowers -- so my envious sigh is just about your photographic skill -- so beautiful. You have a wonderful garden.
