winter colors

I never thought I'd see spring bulbs in the middle of winter, but I guess stranger things have happened.  I am definitely not complaining, as this shows you how mild the winter has been. There was one frost that got a few of my flowers but that must have been the only 'winter' that the bulbs felt and then it was time to bloom!

Your hyacinthus are very nice. But my favorite is the mushroom-photo.

  11. My sister once brought home 3 hyacinth bulbs, she knew i love bulbs. However it cannot grow well in our hot climate, then it died. I wish next time she will bring hippeastrum/amaryllis, they are more adaptable.

  13. I love the smell of hyacinths. They are quite often forced in the UK so they come out early for Christmas.
