I never thought I'd see spring bulbs in the middle of winter, but I guess stranger things have happened. I am definitely not complaining, as this shows you how mild the winter has been. There was one frost that got a few of my flowers but that must have been the only 'winter' that the bulbs felt and then it was time to bloom!
These are lovely! I really like the last one, the mushrooms, and the fourth one down.
ReplyDeleteWonderful Wintercolours, dear Betty!

Yes, it's pretty warm in Auckland too. The rain is starting to set in. I hope it will be a good growing season.

My sister once brought home 3 hyacinth bulbs, she knew i love bulbs. However it cannot grow well in our hot climate, then it died. I wish next time she will bring hippeastrum/amaryllis, they are more adaptable.
ReplyDeletelovely flower fotos... thank you - ghislana
ReplyDeleteI love the smell of hyacinths. They are quite often forced in the UK so they come out early for Christmas.
