Black and white photos

This is a macro shot of mold growing in the corner of a window. I think it's beautiful, even if it does sound a bit disgusting. Such is the life of living on a South Pacific island :)

These are SUPERB - your framing is excellent. I love the abstract quality of the first shot! YAM xx

  2. Its a change to see black and white. They are especially nice when there is a strong contrast like with the church. I love the seascape above the church too, great leading lines.

  7. Fine collection of b&w photos. The mold is interesting, but I like the next to last shot of the shore.

  8. Great series but first is the best - like how it is captured and contrasted.

  13. That window shot is funny and living in Florida I can relate. We were happy not to have any to clean up this month when we got back; we must have done something right when we left this time, or else it was a dryer summer.

Oh and all the compositions are beautiful. As always.

  16. The mold does look a bit like a miniature garden. I think I've seen some stuff like that growing outside my house attached to the mortar between the bricks.
