Winter in New Zealand never seems desolate as the hillsides are dotted (and sometimes filled)
with pine trees. I think it makes winter easier to bear.
But, Taranaki seems to be green year round...
...especially when it's warm enough for the snow to be gone!
What lovely photos, and I agree, a little bit of greenery does make winter easier to bare.

ReplyDeleteHello, lovely scenic views. The mountain top is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday, enjoy your new week!
We are green all year around too. Must be all the rain and the closeness to the mountains also. New Zealand is a place I have ALWAYS wanted to visit. What is the name of the mountain?
