Here it;s called either the Deer moon, as this is the time of year that the stags start to fight each other for the female or else it is called the Harvest moon, it's been spectacular this year. great capture x
Loved your photos. I think we're all fascinated by full moons. Here in the US, we call this the Buck Moon, because deer are just getting their new antlers. What a difference can occur from the tilt of the earth. We also call it the Thunder Moon or the Hay Moon, self-explanatory.
Last night I woke up at about 3am and saw a beautiful moon. The wind was fast so I got some photos of the moon. Some are clear and some are covered. After few minutes thick clouds enveloped the moon and its gone.
I am glad I took some photos before the moon disappeared =)

I always do that, too. Well, I did. Until I realized that moon photos taken with my phone usually don't live up to my expectations - hahaha - but yours with the clouds are pretty cool. The moon this week was really awesome and I came close to try again. I didn't. :)

Great cloud and moon shots. I looked out about 4 o'clock because it was like daylight, no clouds at all. But I went back to bed.

ReplyDeleteYes, just like marshmallows!!
ReplyDeleteIt sure does look marshmallowy - I like the way the clouds are lit up by the moon's light.

ReplyDeleteOh that is a yummy moon and sky!
ReplyDeleteI think the clouds remind of snow, could that be because I think the summer is too warm and I long for wintercold and snow? Nice photos!
