cattle stop on lindis pass and WATW

I have had countless 'I'd-never-see that-in Kansas' moments since I moved to
New Zealand and this is definitely one of them.
We were in the South Island  earlier this year on a major 'highway' (yes, most
roads are 2 lane) in central Otago mountains and saw cattle stops along the Lindis Pass.

I know you have things to share from your part of the world, and we would love to see it--that one photo that doesn't fit with any others, one moment that will never come again--so, link up below by clicking the blue button that says 'add your link'.

After you link up, you can visit other corners of the world by visiting the blogs that are linked up.

Come on! You know you want to!

  2. In our part of the country, South Dakota, the Beef State, these things are called "cattle guards." Yes, we do sometimes see cattle on the roads.

  8. Cattle grids is always a reminder to the driver that cattle on roads is very probably... even on windy mountain roads.
