There's nothing major to harvest here in the Southern Hemisphere winter, so I can't find an appropriate substitution for 'Strawberry Moon.' But, it's still a pretty, full moon.
The 'moon' setting on my camera gave me 5 different colors to use to capture the moon.
Oh wow! These are amazing! The third one looks most like a strawberry moon!
ReplyDeleteFantastic! I'm hoping to see it too but rain predicted, so may be cloudy :/
ReplyDeletePersonally, I like the first and third image. Perhaps I just like orange. Wow! that is a great photo of the moon. You got really fine detail.
ReplyDeleteI can only repeat - Wow.

Oh all those moon colors are kinda cool! Someone once said the moon is made of green cheese....one of these shots could prove it! :)
ReplyDeleteBetty this is a fabulous shot of the moon and I love the way you have changed its colors
ReplyDeleteThat must be some lens you have to get such great shots of the 'strawberry' moon! One of them fits that description! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteA moon setting on your camera with all those colors, pretty cool What type of camera?
ReplyDeleteI prefer the second
ReplyDeleteThese are great shots! Don't be disappointed: I think it's called a strawberry moon because in many places strawberries are in season now.
ReplyDeleteWow, wow wow and I say wow. That is one gorgeous moon and you must have some pretty heavy duty equipment in order to shoot it. All I get is a dot with glare.
ReplyDeleteThose are excellent "moon shots."
ReplyDeleteI posted a shot of the moon this week too, Betty! How fun to compare my view to yours! and how humbling to think that no matter how far apart we are, we're both looking at the same moon.
ReplyDeleteLove your moon photos! Fabulous!!
