The Not-exactly-strawberry moon

There's nothing major to harvest here in the Southern Hemisphere winter, so I can't find an appropriate substitution for 'Strawberry Moon.' But, it's still a pretty, full moon.

The 'moon' setting on my camera gave me 5 different colors to use to capture the moon.

  3. Personally, I like the first and third image. Perhaps I just like orange. Wow! that is a great photo of the moon. You got really fine detail.

  4. Oh all those moon colors are kinda cool! Someone once said the moon is made of green cheese....one of these shots could prove it! :)

  8. These are great shots! Don't be disappointed: I think it's called a strawberry moon because in many places strawberries are in season now.

  9. Wow, wow wow and I say wow. That is one gorgeous moon and you must have some pretty heavy duty equipment in order to shoot it. All I get is a dot with glare.

  11. I posted a shot of the moon this week too, Betty! How fun to compare my view to yours! and how humbling to think that no matter how far apart we are, we're both looking at the same moon.
