kingfisher

This guy hangs around our area and I see him now and then on the wires. He was sitting on Hubby's weeping cherry tree when I looked out the window. I got his picture through the window (first 2 shots) and then he flew around and came back to land on the fencepost in the last shot.

  2. Hi Betty, Excellent photos! Although you mention the first two are "through the window" I like the effect, especially on the second one. The third one is so great with perfect focus. Very nice. Thank you for your kind comment on my blog.

  8. What good close ups of this Kingfisher. His coloras remind me of a hummingbird, but of course I know he is much larger.
