The beautiful scenes are very NZ, and yes i agree with you, that particular spot could probably have escaped the eyes of the maintenance officers. But that is also fine, as it also adds to the character of the place.

Some very pretty countryside there. I must admit I found that 2nd photo a bit "disturbing" for some weird reason. I chuckled at the cow bathtub though.
