I fell in love with dogwood trees when I lived in Georgia. Rumor had it that they grew in New Zealand, so I kept my eye open for them. I finally got to see one in full bloom during the Fringe Festival at the Regional Council!

They must occur over here in some garden or other but I don't recall seeing them. Very pretty.

Dogwoods are beautiful like your picture. We saw a whole valley in flower near Yosemite NP in 2012. A great show.
